Editorial and Pricing Standards
Where our numbers come from, who writes them, how often they are reviewed, and what we will never publish.
Our six principles
Prices come from quoted work
Every figure in our cost guides is derived from projects SiteFyd has quoted or delivered in the previous quarter. We do not republish third-party survey averages, and we do not invent ranges to look competitive.
No invented proof
We never publish testimonials, ratings, awards, or client results we cannot attribute to a real engagement. Where a claim cannot be evidenced, we leave it out rather than soften it.
One page, one question
Each page is written to fully answer a single question a buyer actually asks. We do not pad word counts, and we do not spin one article into ten near-duplicates with a city name swapped in.
Scheduled review, not silent edits
Cost and pricing content is reviewed on a fixed quarterly cadence. Each guide carries a visible changelog so you can see what changed and when, instead of an undated 'updated' badge.
Structured data matches the page
Our JSON-LD describes what a visitor can actually see. Prices in schema match prices in the copy, FAQ markup matches the visible FAQ block, and nothing is marked up that is hidden from users.
Corrections are welcome
If a number, claim, or comparison on this site is wrong or out of date, email support@sitefyd.com. We correct it and log the change on the affected page.
Review cadence
All 10 cost guides are reviewed together each quarter so figures stay consistent across the site. The current review is dated and the next is scheduled for .
Each guide carries its own dated changelog at the foot of the page. Start with the cost guide index or the full web design pricing guide.
Questions about how we publish
Who writes SiteFyd's pricing and comparison content?
It is written and reviewed by the SiteFyd delivery team β the same people who scope and quote projects. We publish under the organisation rather than inventing individual author personas.
How often is pricing content updated?
Cost guides are reviewed quarterly. The current review is dated 2026-08-01 and the next is scheduled for 2026-11-01. Every guide shows its own changelog.
Do competitor comparisons favour SiteFyd?
Our comparison pages state plainly where a competitor is the better choice, including cases where a website builder or a template beats hiring us. Comparison tables use published pricing and documented platform limits, both of which you can verify.
Do you accept payment for placement or reviews?
No. Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no page ranks a product higher in exchange for money or affiliate revenue.
